Role description
LaCosmetique Store supervisor is expected to manage all operations of the store and to lead and guide all store assistants to ensure merchandising guidelines are met and to achieve sales targets set.
Achievement of sales targets
· Setting daily/weekly/monthly targets
· Setting individual targets
· Review results and raise awareness of productivity and achievements
· Follow all brands counter action plans
· Plan store activities to win higher customer support
Store Business Management
· Recruit and train new Sales Assistants
· Manage in store rosters
· Communication book utilised daily- communicate daily objectives
· Reporting monthly/promotional results
· All service events are booked and confirmed
· Manage and communicate all staff leave requests
· Keep accurate and up to date sales retail report
· Maintaining effective and accurate petty cash management
· Merchandising – ensure store reflects merchandising standards supporting the marketing
program at all times
· Be diligent and ensure all health and safety regulations are met
Stock management
· Ensure adequate levels of stock
· Regularly give feedback regarding stock issues with company management
· Keep Sales Assistants informed of out of stock and overstocks (push list)
· Rotate stock with incoming orders
· Encourage professional management of customer complaints to minimise returns and to retain customer
Training
· Attend all required trainings (sometimes may be outside of work hours)
· Accept personal responsibility to invest time in keeping up with all product knowledge
· Motivate and train into Sales Assistants
Skills and qualifications
Experience in the retail sector as a manager or assistant manager of a store or counter for at least 3 years+
· The confidence to sell products requiring specialist knowledge.
· A demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service
· Commercial acumen
· Excellent communication skills and merchandising abilities
· Proven track record in driving sales and exceeding set KPI’s
· Computer literacy encompassing Microsoft Office
